Shabab Al- Ahli Dubai FC was also known as “Red Knights” is a professional football association based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. They currently play for the UAE Pro League and is one of the dominant teams. Shabab Al- Ahli Club formed in the year 1958 in Dubai, its owner is Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum – Crown prince of Dubai, deputy chairman being Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, leading person Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed as the head of Shabab Al- Ahli Football Company.
In record until 2018, Shabab Al – Ahli Dubai has won the League title 7 times (1974–75, 1975–76, 1979–80, 2005–06, 2008–09, 2013–14, 2015–16) 8 UAE's President Cup titles (1974–75, 1976–77, 1977–78, 1995–96, 2001–02, 2003–04, 2007–08, 2012–13), 4 UAE super Cup titles (2009, 2013, 2014, 2015) and 3 UAE League Cup titles (2011–12, 2013–14, 2016–17). As per IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics), they have been recognized as 7th best Asian Club along with ranked 110th in the world and 4th in Asia.

As of July 2016, Teams which have won the UAE League Title more than five times can represent 1 star in their jersey symbolizing supremacy. Ahli- 10 Titles* 3 Leagues have been accepted to be credited as stars including UAE Pro League Title - 7 and UAE League Cup Title - 3.




History , Formation, Logo Transformation


During the year 1958 (est.1957-58) two domestic football clubs namely – Al Shabab and Al Wehdah had formed together as “one team” for the camp training held in Egypt under their first club president - H.E. Nasser Abdulla Hussain Lootah. Four years later, another domestic team Al Najah had formed as Al Ahli Club.




1970-2006





The first logo reflects a falcon placed above a football underneath written as “AL Ahli Club” horizontally. 

2006-2017



2017- Present





After the famous name given to the “Red Knights” in 2006, the logo changed to a one-sided faced horse in white alongside the year which was the club formed and the initials “A C” representing Al Ahli Club. 
















The new logo which was reformed in the previous year symbolizes might, strength and motivated spirits which have been a favorite logo amongst other clubs.











Clash of Clubs


Al-Ahli encounter with Al-Ain FC has always been the popular contest between them in the UAE Pro League. It has been since 1970’s period until now which excites the supporters for a thrilling match to be played. Famous footballers of Al-Ain such as Omar Abdulrahman, Mohammad Abdulrahman, Marcus Berg, Caio showcase their talent for a splendid result against their rival Shabab Al-Ahli.
According to the Head-To-Head Statistics, Al Ain has a better record of winning 16 times out of 22 matches and Shabab Al Ahli winning only 7. 








President Cup’s Final 2014, a match played between Al Ain FC and Shabab- AL Ahli Dubai, where Defender Walid Abbas gaining possession from Al Ain’s attacker Omar Abdulrahman.

Final Score was AL-Ain 1-0 Shabab Al Ahli.






Grounds

The official stadium of Shabab Al Ahli club is called Rashid Stadium currently located in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates which was named after Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It was built in the year 1948. The stadium can host up to 10,000 people.

Football Arabian Gulf League/Al-Ain/Omar Abdulrahman




U.A.E Pro League previously known as Arabian Gulf League which was founded in 1973 is a known professional league in the united arab emirates. Al- Sharjah was the first team to win the League title. 14 teams participate in this tournament including Al-Ain, Al-Wasl, Al-Wahda etc. Al-Ain has the record of winning the League Title 12 times since the commencement of the League. Al-Ain’s top players include – Marcus Berg, Caio, Omar Abdulrahman. Omar Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Raaki Al Amoodi known as “Al Amoodi” has been a prominent player for their success in winning the title 2017-2018. His contribution for Al-Ain’s victory has been rated as the “most exceptional player” for the team. His performance for scoring 5 goals, 5 assists creating team plays and phenomenal dribbling skills has emerged as an “idol” for junior academies and  youngsters.
